A big welcome back to School House for Term 4. Mixed emotions around the place as our year 9’s are only a term away from finishing their first year with us. Our year 10s are close to stepping up to “the blazer”, our year 11s are about to start their first NCEA exams, year 12s have almost made it to their final year, while our year 13’s are reflecting on 5 years of growth, learning and friendship.
The next 4 weeks will go by very quickly for our seniors especially and before you know it, the year is over.
Dunners has turned the weather on for us to start the term and the boys have been getting out and enjoying the sun.
Couple of things to mention:
1) A long line of shoes are sitting at the hostel. If they’re still there by Friday they’ll go to a good home.
2) Year 13 Angus Perkins gave a fantastic “last word” at assembly today. I will post it once I have my hands on it.
3) Labour Weekend next weekend and the hostel is closed. Get your leave sorted now.
A big term ahead - I know the boys will enjoy it.
