Looking for a place to park the campervan, caravan or set up the tent?
We have 30 sites to choose from. There are two sets of communal facilities, the smaller block in amongst the sites and the larger block as well.

The feedback we've been getting from guests lately is how friendly and clean everything is.

Gemma and Ezekiel can often be found in the children's playground ready to make a new friend.

Our friendly team are always ready for a chat around the park, we love hearing about what you've enjoyed visiting around the Taranaki area.

We are a smaller Holiday Park, so if you're travelling with a large tent, caravan or motorhome give us a call or message to check which sites are still available and if to see if the sizes will work for your setup (particularly over the busy summer season).
People often comment how quiet the park is as we are set amongst houses in the Fitzroy area, but do best in mind we do cater for families and groups as well.

Yesterday we had a lovely visit to Jungle Nurseries
Great inspiration for your garden at home (saw a few ideas for plants I already have growing at home!)

Lovely friendly and helpful team plus plenty of plants to buy too.

Was my first visit, but it won't be the last!

Day one of Centuria Taranaki Garden Festival we visited Diana Montgomery.

We had a lovely visit despite the rain.
The garden is beautiful, we bought some plants to take home and enjoyed a delicious By Michelle & Momo lunch!

John and Diana you have an amazing garden, we love visiting every year (usually multiple times!)

Some updates about Road Closures on State Highway 3 if you're planning to travel to New Plymouth for the Garden Festival.

SH3 AWAKINO GORGE, WAIKATO – RECOVERY WORK
Plan ahead for nine overnight CLOSURES between the Awakino Historic Tunnel and Manganui Rd intersection from Tuesday 27 October, 7pm-4am each night for recovery works.
During the day the road will be open under STOP/GO traffic management and reduced speed limits.

SH3 AWAKINO GORGE, WAIKATO – RECOVERY WORK

Plan ahead for nine overnight CLOSURES between the Awakino Historic Tunnel and Manganui Rd intersection from Tuesday 27 October, 7pm-4am each night for recovery works.

During the day the road will be open under STOP/GO traffic management and reduced speed limits.

Consider using SH1 or SH4 as an alternative route and allow extra time for your journey.

Here's the finished product.

A shelf for the games and puzzles in our communal TV Lounge.

Recently I purchased an old shelf from the The Junction Zero Waste Hub along with some offcuts of saveBOARD which we've put on the top and sides of the shelf. Many of the games and puzzles have been purchased from the junction and other op shops around town.

saveBOARD is made from tetrapacks (milk and juice cartons) and soft plastics.

Over the last four months we've rescued 496 tetrapacks from our park landfill bin, cut them all open and washed them in the dishes water and dropped them off to the The Junction Zero Waste Hub
Watch in the reel to see what we do on our end to ensure the tetrapacks can be turned into saveboard (cut open, flatten and rinse out!)
