Think mouthwatering BBQ, smoky flavours, and a buzzing coastal atmosphere. It’s the perfect excuse to gather your crew, head out of the city, and enjoy a laid-back day by the water.

With top pitmasters competing to win, and plenty to keep the whole family entertained, this is one event you won’t want to miss.

Get yourself down to Whangateau Holiday Park this Saturday and come taste what all the smoke signals are about. 🌿💨

🌧️ Storm Update – Please Stay Prepared & Safe 🌬️
Kia ora koutou,

We are closely monitoring updates from Auckland Emergency Management and MetService as Cyclone Vaianu approaches the North Island.

At this stage, strong winds, heavy rain, and possible flooding are expected across Auckland from Saturday night through Sunday.

💛 Our priority is your safety and wellbeing.

We kindly ask all campers and annual site holders to take a few simple steps today to prepare:
🔹 Secure all outdoor items (chairs, gazebos, loose equipment)
🔹 Ensure awnings and tents are properly fastened or lowered if needed
🔹 Park vehicles safely away from trees where possible
🔹 Check in with family or neighbours, especially if travelling

⚠️ Important:
Conditions may change quickly, so please stay updated via MetService and Auckland Emergency Management

Avoid unnecessary travel during severe weather
If you feel unsafe at any time, please seek assistance immediately

📞 Emergency numbers:
Call 111 if you are in immediate danger
Report flooding or stormwater issues: 09 301 0101
Our team will be on-site and keeping a close eye on conditions throughout the weekend. If you need support, please don’t hesitate to come and see us at reception.
Let’s all look out for one another and stay safe 🌿
