The Garden Room is a guest favorite 🔑

It features a lovely queen-size bed, pine headboard, luxury hotel linens, large pine armoire, and a decorative non-working fireplace.

Other amenities include a 32” flat screen TV, and wireless internet.

The private bath is very bright and airy and has an over sized claw-foot tub with shower surround.

The bath opens to the balcony as well, with views of our Asheville gardens and mountains.

It features a small private balcony with two chairs and bistro table with mountain views to enhance your getaway experience.

Before parting the seas or commanding the chariot races of Ben-Hur, a young Charlton Heston was simply walking the steep hills of Asheville to his rehearsals at the local community theater. 🎭

In the 1940s, our exact 1894 Queen Anne residence on Liberty Street (then called Beaufort Lodge) was his actual home. While studying and trying to find his footing on stage, he resided right behind these historic doors, making the wraparound porch and quiet mountain air his private refuge.

Just as Heston walked within these walls, so can you. There is something about Beaufort House Inn that inspires.
