Meet the people who make Valley Bear Farms so special... welcome to our Meet the Staff series.

Meet Sara, our General Manager here at Valley Bear Farms.

Sara helps oversee the day-to-day operations of the property and works hard to ensure every guest has an incredible experience from start to finish. She loves being part of a place where people can relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories surrounded by nature.

What she loves most about her role is working alongside a great team, meeting new people every day, and helping to keep everything organized and running smoothly behind the scenes.

A few fun things about Sara:
• She loves riding motorcycles 🏍️
• She collects cookbooks and appreciates art
• Her perfect day off includes relaxing at home with her two cocker spaniels, Smokey and Bandit, while trying new recipes in the kitchen 🐾
• Favorite restaurant in Brevard? Vescovo Neighborhood Eatery... especially for their amazing steak and Italian food
• Coffee order: black coffee with cinnamon or hazelnut creamer ☕

Right now, she’s especially excited about an upcoming family vacation to celebrate her son’s 40th birthday.

Her life motto?
“Take pride in the little things... they make the biggest difference.”

We’re so grateful for Sara and the attention she brings to Valley Bear Farms every single day.

A week in the A-Frame. An anniversary getaway. And a guest already planning their next visit. 🤍

Andrea and her husband spent a week with us celebrating their anniversary, and hearing that they would “definitely be going back” is one of the best compliments we can receive.

They spent their days enjoying the peaceful surroundings, wildlife, hiking trails, disc golf, the swimming pond, sauna, and all the little moments that make a mountain getaway feel special.

We love being part of life’s celebrations, and we’re honored they chose Valley Bear Farms for such an important one.

Thank you, Andrea, for spending your anniversary with us. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the mountains. 🌿

Meet Gertie Girl 🐔✨

Gertie Girl is one of the feathered personalities here at Valley Bear Farms, and she already carries herself like she has very important farm business to handle.

She’s curious, alert, and always paying attention to what’s happening around the coop. You can tell she has that little “I know what I’m doing” attitude, even when she’s just standing there looking around.

She may still be growing, but Gertie Girl is already showing plenty of confidence and charm.

Life on the farm is full of little characters like her, and Gertie Girl is definitely one of the ones worth meeting. ❤️

Meet Marvin, part of the team helping oversee operations and guest experience here at Valley Bear Farms.

Marvin helps make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while creating an unforgettable experience for our guests. What he loves most about being part of Valley Bear Farms is the people, both the incredible team he works with and the guests who come here to make memories together.

One of his favorite things about his role is the variety. No two days are the same, and he enjoys being involved in different parts of the business while helping Valley Bear Farms continue to grow.

A few fun things about Marvin:
• If there’s a game to be played, Marvin is probably trying to win it 😄 His competitive side comes out fast, especially on the pickleball court 🏓
• He says he can learn how to play just about any sport ⚽🏀
• He used to be really fast… and according to him, he still is a little 😄 (Ask Trevor Yorick for proof… trust us… ASK!! 🤣)
• A perfect day off includes being outdoors and enjoying the mountains
• Favorite meal? A good steak or anything grilled
• Coffee order: regular coffee with milk and sugar ☕

Right now, he’s most excited about seeing how Valley Bear Farms continues to grow and what’s still ahead for the future.

His life motto?
“Stay consistent, work hard, and take care of people.”
