Every day bathroom 1 is feeling more and more like it’s been here for 1,000 years … and we’re loving it! The tree vanity and river stone vessel sink will be perfect here! Bathroom 2 will be a mirrored version of bathroom 1 but will be an ensuite.

More progress on bathroom 1! We initially planned to drywall the ceiling but we may now tile it to really create the cave-like feel. What do you think?

The bathroom tile is getting installed. The design is intended to make the bathroom feel as if it was built under ground in a cave.

Before buying all of the necessary product to make the green walls around the windows and doors, we wanted to test the look first. This is all the product we have right now and it looks pretty fantastic. It definitely follows the whimsical earth house theme. It was hard to get the lighting right for the pictures but this should showcase the concept.

We’ve made more progress on the exterior to stop future erosion, and more walls have been added to the bathrooms. The bathroom contractor had an emergency come up so we didn’t get as much done there this week as planned but we’ll have more to show next week!

The bathroom shower base passed the 24 hour leak test and now the walls are getting installed to prep for the tile!
