A Message to Our Island Family
With heavy hearts, we share that The Island Resort & Convention Center will be temporarily closing to the public, effective immediately, following Hurricane Isaias. Over the next few weeks, our property will undergo necessary renovation and construction work as we focus on repairs and improvements to prepare for our return. The resort will remain temporarily closed until late November. We will share updates as more information becomes available and appreciate your understanding.
This was an incredibly difficult decision, and we are truly heartbroken that we cannot welcome our guests and community during this time. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause.
All upcoming events, including Boo on the Beach, are canceled. Room reservations scheduled during the closure will need to be canceled or rescheduled. If you have questions about your specific reservation or need assistance, please contact our Front Desk or Reservations team.
We will continue to share updates as work progresses and will notify you if our anticipated reopening date changes.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We are deeply sorry for this disruption and look forward to welcoming you back to The Island.
