Blessing bags are one of the simplest ways we put that into practice. Small bags of essentials, packed by our family, given to people in our community who need them.

Our kids pack them with us. They pick the charities we support, too. This is a family business in the fullest sense of the phrase.

This is where everybody ends up. 🤎

Not the bedrooms, not the deck. But the common areas where families can sit together. You can watch a movie with the whole group over pizza, or simply have a fun conversation.

Woodland Lodge sleeps 18, so we built the gathering spaces to actually hold 18. Nobody has to sit on the floor or drift off to another room because there is no space left.

Hot water, good light, somewhere to hang a towel, and enough counter space that your things are not balanced on the edge of a sink. 🛀

Hi, we're The Woodlands at Hocking Hills. 🌿

We are a family-owned property in Logan, Ohio, about an hour outside Columbus.

Woodland Lodge sleeps 18 across five bedrooms. There is a theater room inside and two fire pits out the back.

Magnolia Grove Lodge sleeps 20 across seven bedrooms. Step-free entry and an accessible master suite mean the whole family can come along.

Notestone Cabin sleeps 12 and welcomes dogs. The wrap-around deck is the best seat on the property.

All three homes have a game room and a hot tub, plus an open kitchen and living area where everyone ends up anyway. We built them for the long dinners, the late fun games, and the soak after a hard hike.

And you know what's even more special? A portion of every stay goes to charity. Making a difference, one stay at a time. 💛

Hocking Hills has a whole tasting scene, and most visitors only ever find one or two stops. 🍷

We put together a guide to sixteen wineries, breweries and distilleries within about an hour of Logan.

Some sit on hilltops with long views. Some are tucked into old barns. Downtown Logan has three within a couple of blocks, so you can park once and walk.

There are addresses, drive times and hours in the full guide, along with a few that close early in the week.

If nobody wants to be the designated driver, we can help you arrange a guided tour instead.

❤️ Hocking County friends, I’m hoping we can help make something special happen for these kids!

Sherry from United Way of Hocking County reached out to me about their Annual Cake Auction on August 25th. Each year, the Hocking County Children’s Chorus comes to perform at the event, and the goal is to make sure these kids can simply come, enjoy dinner together, and perform, without the cost of their meals falling on the chorus or their families.

This year, they are looking for sponsors for two tables at $1,000 each for the Children’s Chorus.

The Hocking County Children’s Chorus is a local nonprofit that has been serving our community since 1979, giving children in grades 1–12 opportunities to learn music, perform, build confidence, and be part of something special.

I know our Hocking County community has such a big heart, so I told Sherry I would help spread the word. ❤️
