We’re looking for team members to help us make a little Andiamo magic here on Lookout Mountain!

Life at Andiamo Lodge is full of wonderful guests, creative experiences, beautiful spaces, delicious food—and plenty happening behind the scenes to bring it all together.

Are you dependable, friendly, willing to roll up your sleeves, and someone who notices the little things? We’d love to meet you! We’re a small, hands-on team with big ideas, and we’re looking for people who take pride in their work and enjoy making others feel welcome.

There’s hard work, laughter, and the satisfaction of helping create something special. A fondness for our four-legged welcoming committee certainly doesn’t hurt! 🐾

Have plans for Thanksgiving? We have something delicious in mind.

We were so proud to be featured in FLOWER Magazine last holiday season, and we’re ready to make this Thanksgiving another one to remember at Andiamo Lodge.

Steve and I will be cooking up a storm, creating a gourmet Thanksgiving feast with beloved traditions and a few delicious surprises—all with that special Andiamo twist. Think beautiful seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully prepared dishes, and plenty of reasons to linger at the table. And yes, you’ll want to save room for dessert!

Add crisp mountain air, cozy fireplaces, and someone else doing the dishes… now that’s something to be thankful for.

We would love to have you join us. Reserve your room now and make a mountain getaway of it! Tickets for the Thanksgiving meal and our final menu will be online soon.

Some things are just too cool to stay in storage.

Years ago, I had Jan Barboglio create these beautiful boxes to hold my photography portfolios. I never photographed just one subject—my tagline was “People, places and things… Colleen Duffley shoots the works.” So each box could hold a selection of images tailored to the client, back when we actually sent portfolios by FedEx or courier to ad agencies!

Opening them again was quite a trip down memory lane: catalogue images, a Better Homes and Gardens cover, a Neiman Marcus shoot… so many projects, places and people.

Now these boxes are getting a new chapter, holding the guest information in The Cottage at Andiamo and Monks Cottage. Too lovely to tuck away, and such a personal piece of my story to share with our guests.

I’ve been so fortunate to have a wonderfully varied creative career, past and present—and, I hope, a very long future in photography and creative direction. These days, I also get to bring everything I’ve learned to creating memorable experiences at Andiamo Lodge.

The thread through it all? Attention to detail. From the images inside a portfolio to the box holding information for your stay, the little things matter.

They always have to me. And they certainly do to us at Andiamo. 🧡

I’ve always been a morning person. Thank goodness… Petey and I get an early start preparing breakfast for our guests!

The light spilling in makes me happy, as does the camera my brother found on one of his tours of duty and brought home for me. Little things, full of meaning.

This time of year feels especially lovely—the crisp air, the cool mornings, and the warmth of the kitchen as breakfast comes together.

We hope you’ll come see us and experience Andiamo Lodge. More than a place to rest your head… a place to slow down, savor the morning, and feel at home. 🧡

A little dirt under my nails and a whole lot of hope! 🌱 Our fall beds at Andiamo are finally planted, and I’m crossing my fingers I wasn’t too late.

I just love our little potting shed—full of books, creative things to do, and inspiration for whatever we might grow or make next. One of my favorite little corners of Andiamo.

Now come on, little plants… let’s grow! 🍂

Wow, time flies! In October 2021, we teamed up with a coffee guru to create our very own Andiamo Let’s Go Joe coffee blend. Five years and more cups than we can count later, it’s still how we love to start the day.
Roasted fresh for us every week, it’s available at and online—a little taste of Andiamo to take home.
But this time of year? We think it’s best served with a warm smile, a cozy fire, and our signature Andiamo breakfast.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern for and our family and friends in the path of Hurricane Isaias. Your texts, messages and prayers mean the world to us.

Steve is at our home on the coast, taking care of things and looking after his mom and brother. We’re keeping everyone in the storm’s path in our hearts and praying for the safety of all.

Save the date… better yet, save the whole weekend!

May 7–9, we’re welcoming the one and only Mary Ella Gabler of Peacock Alley linens to Andiamo Lodge—and y’all, we are over the moon!

We’ve got a fab weekend planned: a pop-up shop at the Gallery by Andiamo Lodge, a little “Beducation” with Mary Ella, and a Conversation at the Andiamo Table. Beautiful linens, wonderful stories, delicious food, and a chance to spend time with the woman behind a brand we love.

Spring is going to be pretty super at Andiamo Lodge! Mark your calendars and stay tuned for all the lovely details.
