Y’all, we’ve got a few seats left!
Tom and Lisa Perini are headed to Andiamo , and we can’t wait to welcome these Texans to the Lodge and give them a proper dose of Alabama hospitality.
Join us for our next Conversations at Andiamo Lodge as we spend an evening with two incredible storytellers, entrepreneurs, and friends of the ranching and hospitality world.
Good people. Great stories. A memorable evening.

Yesterday I got to play floral designer.
To be fair, it’s a hat I wear fairly often at Andiamo Lodge—along with about 27 others—but yesterday’s adventure was for longtime client and dear friend at her Atlanta showroom during Market.
I’ve been photographing Jan’s incredible work for longer than I can remember, and I truly love, love everything she creates. We have several of her beautiful pieces at the Lodge and Monk’s Cottage, and we’re proud to carry her work at as well.
So yesterday’s mission? Jazz up the showroom with flowers, magnolia branches, greenery, and all the natural goodness we could gather.
Of course, Atlanta decided to provide a steady rain. Which meant cutting enormous magnolia branches, hauling them across town, and somehow getting them (along with flowers and gallons of water) into AmericasMart without completely losing our minds. 🌧️😂
Thankfully, I had my dear friend by my side. Naomi helped cut, schlep, lift, arrange, and generally make the impossible seem easy.
Naomi is a move manager—and quite honestly the best I’ve ever seen. If you need a little (or a lot of) organization in your life, she’s your person.
The whole day was a reminder of the power of friendship: showing up, pitching in, laughing through the rain, and creating something beautiful together.
Thank you, Naomi, for all you do. xx

A Weekend with Texas Legends at Andiamo Lodge
We are thrilled to welcome Tom and Lisa Perini of the iconic Perini Ranch to Andiamo Lodge this weekend for two unforgettable events celebrating food, storytelling, entrepreneurship, and community.
Friday Evening | Conversations at the Andiamo Table
Join us for the next installment of our beloved Conversations at the Andiamo Table series, featuring Tom and Lisa Perini as our special guests.
This intimate French salon-style dinner brings together curious minds, great conversation, and exceptional cuisine in a warm and engaging setting. Guests will enjoy a spectacular dinner prepared by Chef Steve Carpenter—our own "Crabby Steve"—while hearing firsthand the story behind one of Texas' most celebrated culinary brands.
Through candid conversation, Tom and Lisa will share the inspiration, challenges, successes, and defining moments that transformed Perini Ranch from a family operation into a nationally recognized destination. Discover the "why," the "how," and the passion behind building an enduring brand rooted in authenticity, hospitality, and excellence.
Saturday | Perini Ranch Pop-Up at The Gallery by Andiamo Lodge
The celebration continues on Saturday with a special Perini Ranch Pop-Up at The Gallery by Andiamo Lodge.

Every day, it seems like we hear the same thing: “Nobody wants to work anymore.”
And while I know labor challenges are real across many if not all industries, hospitality has always been a profession that demands a little extra. Long hours. Physical work. Attention to detail. Weekend shifts. Early mornings. Late nights. It’s not for the faint of heart.
So imagine my surprise—and honestly, my renewed hope—when Savannah reached out to me and joined us this summer.
Savannah is still a senior in high school, yet she’s already decided she wants to pursue a career in hospitality. From day one, she’s shown up on time, worked weekends, volunteered for long hours, and approached every task with enthusiasm. No job is beneath her. Every opportunity is a chance to learn.
What impresses me most is her desire to understand every aspect of the business before deciding which culinary program she wants to pursue. She wants to learn the ins and outs of hospitality—the work, the people, the operations, and the craft.
Of course, I’m a little partial to Auburn’s program. As a member of the advisory board, I get a firsthand look at the incredible work they’re doing to prepare the next generation of hospitality professionals. If reincarnation is a thing, I’m pretty sure I’m going to Auburn in my next life
This post is about gratitude.
It’s wonderful to see a bright spot. Someone so young, so eager to learn, and so professional beyond her years. People like Savannah remind me that the future of our industry is in good hands.
I don’t take the responsibility of helping shape the next generation lightly, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to help show them the ropes. I spy a future Dame

Today, especially, I reflect on what it means to come from a military family. From a very young age, you see the sacrifices made not only by those who serve, but by the families who stand beside them. That sense of duty, pride, resilience, and love for country becomes woven into who you are.
My father, my brother, my sister, my nephew, and my great-nephew have all served our country, and I carry immense gratitude and respect for each of them — and for every family who has answered that call.

This Memorial Day, may we remember the fallen heroes who gave everything, and the families who continue to carry that loss with strength and grace. As we gather with friends and family, fire up the grill, enjoy the lake, the sunshine, and a much-needed day off, may we also pause for a moment of gratitude.

Tip your hat. Raise your glass. Say a prayer.
And never forget the cost of the freedoms we so easily enjoy. 🇺🇸

Talk about a Steak Out. Spend an intimate and relaxed afternoon meeting Tom and Lisa, hearing ranch stories, and talking all things beef: from the ranch to the steakhouse table. Tom will share his passion for the beef industry, why great beef matters, and how it has shaped the heritage and hospitality of Perini Ranch.
Guests can sample the famous Mesquite Smoked Peppered Beef Tenderloin, along with other curated bites. Browse a selection of Perini Ranch favorites, and purchase signed copies of Tom and Lisa’s newest cookbook . More than a collection of recipes, this cookbook celebrates the history, heritage, and people who shape ranch life, as well as the enduring impact of beef on families, communities, and the traditions that bring us together.
It’s a celebration of great beef, great stories, and the traditions that bring people together. Come shop, taste, visit, and enjoy a little slice of Texas ranch life, the Perini Ranch way at Andiamo Lodge. Tickets on sale now.

Learn the art of fly fishing at Andiamo Lodge, where the rhythm of the river becomes part of the experience. Guests will be introduced to the fundamentals of fly fishing — from understanding the difference between conventional and fly fishing to learning the anatomy of the rod, reel, line, and leader.

Along the way, we’ll explore casting techniques, the beauty and purpose of fly selection, and the unique ecosystem of Little River and Little River Canyon. Nestled within the remarkable Mobile Basin — often called “America’s Amazon” for its extraordinary biodiversity — these waters offer an unforgettable setting to connect with both nature and tradition.

Whether you’re stepping into the river for the first time or simply looking to slow down and learn something new, this experience is about more than fishing — it’s about immersion, storytelling, and the timeless pull of the water. Checkout our dates on the we side but of course … we do privates.

At Andiamo, we rarely believe in doing the same thing twice. Call it creative A.D.D., but we’re switching things up for our next Summer Pottery & More Makers Retreat — and honestly, we think it may be our favorite one yet.
Join us for a weekend of creating, gathering, learning, and slowing down with the incredibly talented Josh Miller and Lauren Scott.
This time around, guests will create not one, but two pottery projects — one handmade from scratch and one paint-your-own pottery piece. We’ll also gather around the table for a food demonstration with Josh Miller, Southern Living’s food editor extraordinaire, sharing his signature warmth, stories, and delicious inspiration.
And because we always believe beauty belongs everywhere, Lauren of Wild Good & Garden will lead a hands-on floral arranging experience filled with seasonal blooms and natural creativity.
All of it woven together with cozy lodge mornings, gourmet breakfasts, beautiful meals, laughter, and the magic that always seems to happen around the Andiamo table.
Who’s in? June 6/7 Come create, learn, eat, and enjoy with us this summer at Andiamo.
