CAMPGROUND & RIVER UPDATE: 7/7/25

Our heartfelt and caring thoughts are with everyone affected by the recent flooding in Texas over the July 4th, 5th, & 6th Holiday Weekend. We stand together, sending love and strength to all during this difficult time.

Due to recent flooding on River Road in New Braunfels on Saturday, July 5th, the campground is closed for flood cleanup and grounds construction.

A formal announcement will be issued on Wednesday Evening, July 9th, regarding the reopening of our campground.

*Our tentative reopening date is Thursday, July 10th @ 2:00 pm.

If you were affected by evacuations on Saturday, July 5th, or have reservations scheduled from July 6th through July 9, our Office Team will contact all affected guests in the coming days regarding your reservations.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused, and thank you for your understanding and patience during this challenging time.

River flow and color have almost returned to normal at our location.

KL Campers:

Update:
For all Guests evacuated this morning, please be advised that River Road is now accessible, as of 6:00pm, Saturday, July 5th. The campground has reopened temporarily to current guests. You are welcome to retrieve your RVs, Vehicles, and other belongings.

As many of you may know, the River Road area of Comal County experienced heavy rainfall this morning, causing the river to rise and minor flooding that led to the evacuation of River Road. Currently, River Road remains closed to all traffic due to ongoing weather conditions. Our office has been relocated, and we are unable to answer calls at this time. We are closely monitoring the premises and any belongings left behind.

At this time, all Vehicles and RVs left in the evacuation area appear to have avoided water damage from the rising river this morning.

We are actively coordinating with relevant authorities to establish a confirmed date for when guests may return to retrieve their belongings. According to the Comal County Sheriff’s Department, the earliest possible return date is projected to be Sunday, July 6th.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
