Mabel and I stopped at a neighbor’s offrenda, dedicated to their beloved pets of another time. A lovely memorial with treats for passers by. October 27 was Dia de los Mu***os for pets, starting off this remembrance week. A time to remember all the creatures in our lives that we have loved. 💀

Another spectacular afternoon at LASPCA Carnival. Mabel always opts for the VIP experience, where she is pampered with treats, drinks, cuddles and lots of admiration, requiring a mid-fest nap. Many thanks to the wonderful folks at Louisiana SPCA🐾 and the superb event management skills of Kelly Rayner See you next year!

Amazing afternoon at the Crescent City Blues and BBQ Fest. Listened to the legendary Linda Gail Lewis, who wove stories of her brother Jerry Lee into her own keyboard hammering genius. And then The Zac Schulze Gang. Epic music under a sunny warm sky. Thanks very much, New Orleans!
