🌊 Before you head into the water, check the beach warning flags! 🚩

Ocean conditions can change quickly, and the flags at North Myrtle Beach are there to help keep you and your family safe.

⚫️ Double Red Flags – Water is closed to the public. No swimming allowed.
🔴 Red Flag – High hazard. Strong currents and rough surf make swimming dangerous.
🟣 Purple Flag – Dangerous marine life may be present, such as jellyfish or stingrays.
🟡 Yellow Flag – Medium hazard. Use caution due to moderate surf and currents.
🟢 Green Flag – Low hazard, calm conditions. Swim with normal caution.

A quick look at the flag station before entering the ocean can help ensure a safer and more enjoyable beach day for everyone.

Stay safe everyone!!

Portuguese men o' war have been washing ashore along our beaches recently. While their sting can be extremely painful, there's no denying they're fascinating and beautiful creatures.

If you spot one, admire it from a safe distance. Beneath the colorful, balloon-like float are long tentacles that can stretch 15 to 25 feet in length. Even after washing ashore, those tentacles can still deliver a painful sting for quite some time.

So if you see one floating in the water or resting on the sand, give it plenty of space and keep pets and children away.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

One of our founders, Derek Calhoun, proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years before retiring from active duty in October 2023. We are incredibly grateful and blessed that Derek was able to return home safely to his family and continue building this business alongside us.

Today, we also recognize that many families were not given that same opportunity. We honor the heroes who lost their lives in the line of duty and remember the sacrifices made by them and their loved ones.

This day is more than a long weekend, it is a day of gratitude, remembrance, and respect for those who gave everything for our freedom.
