What a day yesterday was! Our annual Sandy Hill Day was an incredible success, and every dollar raised goes directly to the West Side Volunteer Fire Department.

Thanks to the campers of Sandy Hill and our amazing local community, we were able to hand WSVFD a total of $13,453.00 — the highest amount ever collected in the history of Sandy Hill Day.

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, to all who donated items for our flea market and auction, and an equally big thank you to Pohanka of Salisbury for sponsoring our event. Your support made this record‑breaking year possible.

Our community showed up in a big way, and we are so grateful.

BREAKFAST ready by 7am prepared by West Side Volunteer Fire Department

9:30am Flea Market/children activities

11am-1pm WSVFD will sell hot dogs,burgers, oyster fritters, fries and drinks

12:30pm get your auction number and preview auction

1pm Auction begins

5pm Dinner/door prizes/raffles drawn (must have purchased a dinner ticket in advance NO TICKETS SOLD TODAY)

8pm Bingo

If you’ve purchased tickets for our Sandy Hill Day dinner on Saturday, please remember to bring:

• A covered dish (enough to feed 10 people)
• A serving utensil for your dish
• Your drinks for the evening

We will provide plates, napkins, and utensils for the dinner.
