If you're visiting Traverse City this month, you've picked a great time. There is so much going on.

Kick off the season with Traverse City Uncorked, May 1st-10th. It's a celebration of local wine, food, and craft beverages with tastings, dinners, and unique experiences throughout the area.

Mother’s Day (May 10) is a great time to visit. Many local spots are offering special brunches, including Black Star Farms, Artisan Traverse City, Aerie Restaurant & Lounge, and Chateau Chantal Winery. And just down the road, Smoke and Porter is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch buffet. You can't go wrong.

Looking for something unique? Forest to Fork brings together local ingredients, chefs, and outdoor dining for a true Northern Michigan experience. Runs May 14th-17th.

Step back in time when the Cherry Bowl Drive-in opens for the season on May 15th. A double feature under the stars is one of those nostalgic experiences you won't find many other places.

Later in the month, don’t miss the Michigan Beer and Brat Festival (May 23) or the Downtown Art Walk (May 29), both great ways to enjoy the season.

There is so much happening all month long. Whenever you visit, it’s a great time to be in Traverse City. Be sure you make Pointes North Beachfront Resort your home away from home.
