This year in remembrance of September 11th, 2001 two beams of light will be placed on top of Mount Washington. These lights will be reminiscent of the tribute at Ground Zero and will be seen in the night sky from 8pm to midnight from September 9th to the 12th.

These pillars of light should be visible for well over 100 miles on a clear night! It's a unique and powerful tribute that will be well worth viewing from numerous vantage points.

The hydrangeas have gone from budding to full bloom in the last week or so. They haven't turned pink yet so that means there is still time to book a summer stay!

Good morning everyone! The pool is already at 85 degrees to start the day today. Yesterday it was up to 87 degrees in the middle of the day, but it was still plenty refreshing! That might be close to a record.

The heat outside is moderating a little and it looks like some beautiful days are ahead. We hope everyone is enjoying the 4th of July holiday in The White Mountains.
