We had the sweetest visitors at Heaven In The Hills today! 🐴❤️

Jennifer Olsen Thomas, Helena George, and their beautiful horses came out for a trail ride and we had the best time!

What a beautiful day!!!!
I love trail riding, especially when there’s a goal or a destination! Our destination today was a precious campground in Westfield North Carolina, right off the Sauratown Trails, Heaven In The Hills. The family that runs the campground is so sweet and they mentioned the other day that no horses have come through, so we wanted to make that happen.!!
We rode from section 7 all the way to 3 that winds around the campground, where you can take a nice loop past the stream through the Camp. Sky and Pepper were so chill as they hung out and took in all the scratches and treats!!. They were great ambassadors for the horse world 🙂 thanks Helena for another fun ride!!

🚨 LAST MINUTE OPENING 🚨

ONE RV site just opened for tomorrow, Sept. 4th at Site 9!!

It’s available after 4 pm! This one won’t last long!!! 😎

Grab it while ya can and we’ll see you tomorrow for a fun Labor Day Weekend, with live music and bbq on Saturday 🎵.

It may still be hot around here but we KNOW Fall is coming!! 🍁

We’ll be sliding into beautiful Fall days, changing leaves, chilly nights with campfires, local festivals and some of the best weekends of the year!!

Come and explore Mt. Airy, Pilot Mtn. and Hanging Rock, local wineries and EVERYTHING our little corner of the foothills has to offer.

We can’t wait to meet you!

🎉 In just a couple of weeks, Heaven In The Hills will be ONE YEAR OLD!

Before the campsites, campers, fire pits and picnic tables, there was a whole lot of woods, dirt, equipment and a DREAM!! ✨

These are just a few glimpses of the early days of bringing the campground to life.

🏃🏽‍♂️Did you know one of NC’s most challenging trail races runs right through our property, following the Sauratown Trail?!

The Pilot Mountain to Hanging Rock Ultra is on September 19th!

🏅We’re looking forward to cheering on the runners as they make their way from Pilot Mountain to Hanging Rock!

Is anyone else starting to get excited for Fall camping? 🍁🍂

Summer isn’t quite over yet, but we’re already looking forward to cooler days, cozy campfires and watching the season begin to change here in the foothills!

When your camp hosts get stuck behind a fallen tree on the way to the campground, and the campground owner shows up with a chainsaw! 💪🏻

Thanks to everyone who stopped to help as well as the Sauratown Volunteer Fire Dept! 🚒

Campground owner by day, roadside rescue by afternoon! We do it all at Heaven In The Hills 😂🪚.
