Seasonal rains have woken up many of the reserve’s geophytes, and, not to be left out, smaller annuals and fynbos species have donned their winter finery to join the revival.
With splashes of white, purple and yellow breaking through the greens, wildflower beauties like Crassula capensis, Romulea flava and Oxalis are now in full bloom.
As these cooler months unfold, our familiar trails and pathways hold satisfying floral rewards for those who take the time to revisit them.
