We’re so excited to be celebrating 15 wonderful years of 28 gates.

What started as a dream has grown into something very special. Filled with wonderful memories, amazing guests, new adventures and a whole lot of fun!

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey and shared a little piece of 28 gates with us.

🔥 Blacksmithing at 28 gates

Come and get hands-on with a little piece of Tasmania’s farming heritage.

Join us for a 2-hour blacksmithing workshop where you’ll learn the traditional skills of working with hot iron and create something of your own to take home.

A wonderful experience for couples, friends or anyone keen to try something a little different.

10-12 and 1-3
$175 per person | 2 hours

Set amongst the beautiful surrounds of 28 gates, it’s a chance to slow down, have a go and enjoy a truly hands-on fun Tasmanian experience.

We are very excited to open the doors to Circus Key from 1st September. It’s been a big journey with this one and a story to it throughout. A fabulous experience only 2 hours from us. Stay here and then have a couple of nights and book one of these kayaking tours on Lake Peddar. It’s certainly worth it and your in the heart of the wilderness
