Autumn incoming…
I’m not keen to race into seasons too quickly, I much prefer to celebrate and enjoy each as it comes, but there is no denying there’s a nip in the air, chestnuts are falling and leaves are turning. And it’s October next week, for god’s sake!!
But before I start blethering about fires and cheese I’m starting with clay (stay with me) because these autumnal beauties have just landed.
We opened the Snappers doors five years ago and Lisa’s soaps have been with us from the start. They are handmade in Lisa’s gorgeous studio and shop in Derbyshire with Shea butter, coconut and almond oils, and green clay, stuffed full of pure essential oils to guide us through the seasons. Mabon is her autumn scent with some of my favourite oils, patchouli, Berber and clove.
And it sits perfectly on Carla’s soap dish and you’ll find several of Carla’s pieces around Snappers - forage bowls, mugs and little dishes. Again, carefully crafted, beautiful in their simplicity, and designed to stay with you.
Big thanks and love to Organic skincare, bath & body, aromatherapy and Carla, Sheffield UK, Potter making and designing tableware for being with me from the start and bringing so much daily joy and clay to me and our guests.
