Newly re-opened 6-berth cottage with it's own hot tub, log burner and dog paddock available for the half-term week.

We are pleased to say that our exterior building work at Crossways Holiday Cottages is complete. Interior decoration is underway along with some improvements to the garden. Opening date for Dartmoor Cottage is 23rd October.
We are now taking bookings from that date onwards including Christmas, New Year and 2027

Glorious weather means glorious Instow (just over 20 minutes from Crossways) and that also means The Glorious Oyster which, in this sunshine, looks like it could be anywhere in the Caribbean. 🏖🏝🌞

Chagford Country Show ♥️
We love a country show and this is probably our favourite. A truly great day out for the entire family, with excellent food and drink, country skills and artistic flair on display, classic vehicles from Rolls Royce's to old, but lovingly maintained old tractors to fun fair rides. What's not to like?

Not a surprise for us. If pressed as to what was our favourite place in the whole of Devon (and that's a whole lot of county) Lynmouth would be our quick response. With it's steep wooded valleys with their fast flowing rivers running down to meet the sea at the gorgeous fishing village of Lynmouth, any visitor could easily see why it's known as Little Switzerland.
Only 40 minutes drive through lovely Exmoor countryside, and passing some fantastic pubs, it's a wonderful day out that we often do ourselves.
