First off, a huge thank you to Storm Austen for treating us a little kinder than past storms have, we definitely appreciated the gentler touch this time around!

We want to send a heartfelt apology to all of our guests who missed the start of their October half-term break. Making the call to close last Friday was a tough safety decision, but safety is always our top priority. Thank you so much to everyone for your incredible understanding, patience, and support.

After a quick tidy-up around the site, we are absolutely delighted to share that we are officially back open today and fully ready to welcome you all!

The blue skies are out, the park is looking great, and we can't wait to see you all for a fantastic rest of the half term. Safe travels

Burton Bradstock really is one of Dorset’s hidden gems 🌊

Our latest Freshwater Beach Journal article is all about this beautiful coastal village, just moments from Freshwater Beach Holiday Park.

It is the kind of place that makes you slow down a little, with sea air, village charm, coastal views, gentle walks, beach days and that lovely Dorset feeling that stays with you long after you leave.

Whether you are visiting as a family, coming away as a couple, planning a solo coastal reset, camping, touring, or simply looking for a peaceful Jurassic Coast escape, Burton Bradstock is well worth making time for during your stay.

☀️ Who says summer has to end in August?

September by the sea has a charm all of its own 🌊

The school holiday rush starts to settle, the beach gets a little quieter and there’s more time to simply slow down and enjoy the Dorset coast.

Think morning walks along the beach, coffee with a sea view, exploring the Jurassic Coast and making the most of those last warm days of the year 😌

And if you’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet, we still have September availability at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park.

Come and squeeze a little more summer out of 2026😉☀️🌊
