The calm, earlier today, before this weekends storm. Stay safe everyone.

It your power goes and you need somewhere, don't be afraid to message us, we should have power in our lodges thanks to our own on-site power system.

Who else hates having showers where there is no space to move once you get in?

Our master shower rooms have been designed with walk in showers which ensure you have plenty space.

We have also included a shelf in the shower for your shampoo, shower gel etc., no need to have them sitting on the floor here!

It is these little touches that play a part in our guests booking repeat stays.

There is something special about a winter sunrise walk up Bennachie.

Bennachie is the iconic Aberdeenshire Hill range. Not only can you admire it from the lodges, it is only a short drive and you can enjoy the many trails linking the various peaks.

These pictures were from a walk we did mid December. The hard frost and mist added to the magic.

Freddie and Maizie were treated to a stunning sunrise this morning before they headed home after a weekend visit to our Bennachie Lodge.

Did you know our sunset sauna sessions for November through to January are in the middle of the afternoon? The benefits of living so far north!

🌅 6-8 November: 3.15pm - 4.45pm
🌅 4-6 December: 2.30pm - 4pm
🌅 8-10 January: 2.45pm - 4.15pm

These sessions are 1.5hr private sessions for up to 8 people.

You have access to the sauna, cold water shower, cold water dip tub and can enjoy our spectacular views over Aberdeenshire farmland.

Delighted to announce we have made it into the final three for the Cottages and Self Catering 2 to 5 Properties category of the Dogfriendly.co.uk awards.

Unfortunately we cannot make the awards ceremony in London on 20 November, as we are at the Thistle National Awards in Edinburgh.
