Boutique Farm Bothies magical cabins filled with vintage colourful delights on the inside and wood fired hot tubs, pizza ovens and BBQ on the decks!

Secluded boutique bespoke cabins set in their own private spot on our farm in rural Aberdeenshire. Boutique Farm Bothies
Our bothies are all individuals designed and built with love and passion by a family of farmers where ideas have no restrictions! These boutique boltholes are set on farmland in glorious Aberdeenshire in Scotland and are more glamour and luxury than glamping pods or camping. We have designed each bothy to encourage the outside in where guests take a deep breath and slow down into bothy life. Each bothy has their own playful character and authentic nod to its agricultural history, sited independently of each other in their own spot on our farm. All are filled with vintage treasures and endless little touches for a truly memorable stay. Be our guests at Boutique Farm Bothies - slow down relax feel closer to nature and rejuvenate! Barley Bothy is our first wrinkly tin Scottish cabin surrounded by beautiful rural countryside. Made mostly from upcycled and repurposed materials the wooden interior was once a chicken shed! Experience bothy life by breathing in the views and settling down to a board game while you wait for the kettle to boil on the log burner. Starry skies to be admired from the hot tub and star gazing windows. Toast marshmallows over the fire and experience making your own pizza and cooking in the great outdoors. The box beds are such fun for grown ups and children a like! The Sheep Shed is in its own little copse of trees with twinkly lights above the hot tub and uninterrupted views from the glass gable end. Our signature wrinkly tin with cosy wooden interior wood burning range for heating, cooking and hot water. The Sheep Shed is solar powered so guests keep the fire stoked to provide all the hot water. From pizzas on the deck to cups of tea in bed on the mezzanine this is one very special place for the romantics looking to get right back to basics. The Dairy at Denend takes guests to a whole new level of fun and luxury. The iconic wrinkly tin shape is based on a mobile milking parlour called a Hosier Milking Bail! The luxurious king size bed faces the magnificent arch gable end window for guests to immerse themselves in the spectacular views! A wrap around deck with veranda for outdoor cooking on the Vulcanus God of Flames wood fired grill or soaking in the bespoke milk tank style hot tub under the stars! Denend Dairy is so spacious with a second bedroom with bunks for the family or simply an indulgent dressing room for couples. There is a ladder to the bedrooms or outside stair case, take your pick, there is Ally Up basket for hoisting up a flask and mugs for the morning cuppa. Vintage treasures include a 1950’s larder cupboard re purposed into a cocktail cabinet and reproduction Dansette record player with Bluetooth connection. Possibly our best bothy yet? You decide…..! Well behaved doggies welcome! Long walks in glorious Aberdeenshire await be it seaside or mountain or simply around our farm. Each doggie stay includes a sleep over essentials kit with bowls, towel, blanket and gravy bones! Dogs are charged at £15 per doggie per stay. Slow down - Relax - Feel closer to nature - Rejuvenate

Farm Stay Housekeeping & Guest Preparation Assistant

**Boutique Farm Bothies | Drumblade, near Huntly**

We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our small, friendly team, helping us prepare our unique farm stays for arriving guests.

This isn't your average cleaning job! As well as making sure our bothies and farmhouse are beautifully presented, there's plenty of variety and some outdoor work too.

**What does the job involve?**

- Cleaning and preparing our holiday accommodation between guests
- Changing beds and arranging fresh linen and towels

Previous experience isn't essential as full training will be provided. A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to get stuck in are much more important!

**The practical details**

- **Location:** Drumblade, near Huntly

You'll be working alongside a friendly, supportive team in a lovely rural setting, helping us create those special stays our guests love.

🍂Did you miss us?🍂

We've been a little quiet on here as we have been busy welcoming our lovely guests for their stays, getting back into the school rhythm, soaking up the last of summer sun and watching the farm tiptoe towards Autumn.

There is something rather lovely about this time of year at BFB. Crisp mornings, cosy evenings, changing colours and that delicious feeling of slowing down. We should all take Spot's advice of taking a moment to sit at The Sheep Shed and watch the world go by.

So hello, how have you been?

We have lots to share so stay tuned.

🐾 Meet the BFB Dog Team 🐾

To celebrate International Dog Day, we thought we would introduce some of the four legged members of the BFB team.

Swipe through to meet them.....

Trixie - Farm Manager & Head of Security

Lulah - Guest Welcoming Officer

Spot - Guest Experience Consultant

We love welcoming our doggie guests to BFB too! ❤️

And while our team are always happy to say hello, we’re equally happy to give our guests’ dogs their own space if they’re nervous, reactive or simply prefer a little peace and quiet.

Happy International Dog Day from the BFB Team!

❤️

Trixie - Farm Manager and Head of Security

The bestest shepherdess around, Trixie is in charge of our BFB Dog Team, keeping an eye on things and making sure everything runs smoothly.

She can usually be found overseeing the farm from by the farm door, preferably in a sunny spot.

Lulah - Guest Welcoming Officer

As our unofficial guest welcoming officer, Lulah is always ready to say hello to our guests.

Lover of sticks and the odd stone for throwing, Lulah likes to make sure that she is on hand should guests want some company.

Spot - Guest Experience Consultant

Having stayed as a guest many times before joining the team, Spot is on hand to provide his insight into what our four legged guests would like for their stay.

His main duties include following his human around, consulting on appropriate doggie blanket placements and encouraging guests to slow down, relax and watch the world go by.

🎬 🏰Step into The Odyssey..... right here in the North East of Scotland. 🏰🎬

Christopher Nolan's epic The Odyssey has brought some of our spectacular Scottish landscapes to the big screen - and we're rather lucky to have several of them within easy reach of Boutique Farm Bothies.

From the windswept sands of Culbin to the dramatic cliffs of Findlater Castle and the secluded shores of Sunnyside Beach, these familiar corners of Moray and Aberdeenshire coast were transformed into the mythical world of Odysseus.

Other local towns such as Portsoy, Dunecht and Pennan have been the home of key films Peaky Blinders, Dracular and Local Hero and so if fancy a little cinematic adventure, why not follow the footsteps of Odysseus and stay with us?
