So we have come to the last day of our season and we just want to say a huge thank you to our campers ❤️🏕
As we come to the end of another busy season, we want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to every single one of our campers who has supported our farm diversification throughout 2026.
Running a campsite alongside the farm isn’t always easy, and this year has certainly kept us busy! But the truth is, without our campsite and the amazing people who choose to stay with us, we simply wouldn’t be able to keep farming in the way we do.
Farming is changing, and the financial pressures on family farms continue to increase. With the gradual cuts to the old Basic Payment Scheme and the reduction in direct farm payments, traditional farming income has become much harder to rely on.
For us, diversifying the farm through our campsite has become an incredibly important part of keeping the farm viable and allowing us to continue doing what we love — farming. 🌱🐄🚜
This farm is incredibly special to us. Shaun is the 5th generation of his family to farm here, with his family having been on the farm for over 100 years. It means so much to us to be able to continue that family legacy and hopefully keep the farm going for future generations.
That’s why we genuinely do everything and anything we can to make your stay with us as enjoyable, comfortable and memorable as possible. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, we want you to feel welcome, relaxed and part of our little farm family. We are always grateful for your feedback, your kind words and your support, and we will always do our very best to make sure you have the best stay possible. ❤️

Our last night open is Saturday!

We are half way through our week and the weather has been amazing 🌡☀️

We have loved seeing our amazing regulars and also meeting new people that have said they will absolutely return and we are so grateful for every visitor, I think nearly every review now says "friendly, helpful staff" and it honestly makes our day. Because we are genuinely really happy to meet every visitor and help everyone as best we possibly can.

We started our campsite 6 years ago now, and its been such a journey and we have learnt so much along the way and every year we try and improve whilst still trying keeping our prices as low as possible. Because to put it simply we just want to keep our family farm going in difficult and trying times and the trying times arent are not just for us but for alot of farmers.

By choosing to camp with us you support a local 5th Generation Farm not a chain not a franchise just local farmers and we will never not be grateful.

In the 6 years of opening we have been overwhelmed with the character, kindness and amazing people we have met and continue to meet and we can not thankyou enough and every night we sit at the campsite and watch you have your bbqs or campfires watching your children run round and making new friends we feel so grateful.

So with our closing date fast approaching until we re- open on July 17th we just wanted to say thankyou, because without you we wouldnt still be farming today.

A VERY HAPPY MONDAY POST 🏕

We have finally recieved the approval for our campsite for this season!

I cant believe its our 6th year this year opening, where does the time go? We have such a loyal camping following it it means the absolute world to us.

This campsite is so much more than just a campsite to us. By choosing to stay with us you help to support our farm which has been in our family for 5 generations now, and thats also why you see us day and night during your stay because we really do care about every guest and want everyone to have the very best camping experience possible.

And we are so pleased we can finally start accepting bookings!

So can now officially confirm we are open for the following dates for 2026:
