A beautiful little red 🐿️🧡

We are so lucky to have a small population of red squirrels left in the area, and they are magical to see out and about on the farm 🏡

Baling 2026 over and out 🙌🏻

We don’t cut most of our hay fields until after the 05th July, this is to comply with environmental schemes on the farm which protect ground nesting birds so they have time to rear their chicks before we cut the grass. The scheme also allows some of our native grasses and other plants time to mature and go to seed before being used as crop for our animals 🌱

The weather has come at a perfect time this year and we’ve made our hay and silage this week, which will feed our sheep and cattle over the winter months 🐑

It’s great to be a productive working hill farm whilst also considering our environmental impact and encouraging as much biodiversity as possible in our area 💚

Really taking the time to slow down and appreciate the little things recently 🐑🐾🫶🏻

In a world that becomes more digital everyday, it’s important to disconnect from the demands of socials and the appeal of bingeing a series. Make some time to go outside and enjoy the small moments watching the world go by… 🌍

It’s been a seriously hot one this week 🥵

We’ve never felt so lucky to live near so many Lakes!

This hot weather has given us the opportunity to make some amazing hay and silage that we’ll use to feed the animals with this winter 🐑

It’s also given campers some amazing weather and a good excuse to have a dip in the rivers and lakes 🏊🏻

We’ve been heading out early morning and late evenings with the team to cool off and enjoy where we live 🐾
