Just around the corner from the Seven Sisters Country Park visitor centre, located in the courtyard of a 16th Century flint building called Exceat Farmhouse. lection of home cooked savories, ciabattas, soup and cakes. Opening times vary during low season from Oct-Mar but visitors will mostly likely find it open on a fine photographic day. Somewhat hidden and weather dependent, locals in the know check social media or the website before venturing out. The real secret though is that behind the café, in the main building of the farmhouse, there is also a beautiful boutique hotel with 6 bedrooms and a suite with fireplace.

Did you know the Coastguard Cottages at Cuckmere Haven are holding open days this month? Perched on the clifftop with the Seven Sisters as a backdrop, the Coastguard Station has a rich history and stunning views.

Open days: Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September, and Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September, 10am to 4pm (Sunday closes 3pm). Free to visit - a lovely addition to a walk from the farmhouse!

Not many places can offer a view quite like this 💙

The Cuckmere River meandering through the wetlands towards the sea, with the South Downs on either side - this is the Seven Sisters Country Park, and it's right on our doorstep. A good reminder of why we love being where we are 🌳
