Huka Lodge has been named among Tatler’s Best 100 Hotels Asia Pacific 2026, following its inclusion on the 2025 list. Tatler credits the lodge with “understated elegance and deep connection to nature.”

Set on 17 acres along the Waikato River in Taupō, Huka Lodge has welcomed guests since 1924. Dinner is served around a single communal table each evening, and trout can be fished straight from the lodge’s riverbank.
