A new little addition at Forest Mill Cottage — we’ve named it the Woodland Walk.
It’s a simple path that starts right from the cottage garden and winds through the trees down towards the river. Nothing complicated, just an easy way to step outside and slow things down for a while.
Dogs seem to have taken to it immediately. People usually follow.

🌿There’s something new to enjoy at Forest Mill Cottage this summer — a little ‘woodland walk’ that now leads you straight down to the river🌿

It starts right from the cottage garden and follows the little stream and pretty path down to the river.

Perfect for slow mornings with a coffee, late afternoon wanderings, or letting the dog lead the way somewhere for a paddle! It’s become one of those small additions that quietly changes the feel of a stay here — a bit more space, a bit more calm, and a proper sense of being away from everything.
