For those of you who haven't yet experienced KwaMbili Game Lodge, in three simple phrases, it’s an intimate, informal and ultimately a beautiful African experience. We want for you to relax and enjoy the luxuries in camp and let us share with you the wonder of the African bush. We focus on giving you a very personal experience of the bush and its wildlife by limiting the number of guests to 10 at a time. That way, you get exceptional flexibility and personal attention. Keeping KwaMbili running smoothly behind the scenes is Solly, who takes care of all the maintenance around the lodge.

And while there’s plenty to keep him busy, his favourite part of the day is looking after the swimming pool — with a little bonus that comes with the job: checking out the animals visiting the waterhole.

His favourite bush animal? No surprise there…The lion. 🦁

The days begin to warm up, the landscape slowly starts to turn green and the first rains bring fresh life back to the bushveld.

Over the coming months, everything begins to feel a little more alive — from the trees and grasses to the animals that call this place home.

Meet Paul, one of KwaMbili's skilled trackers. Quiet by nature with a wonderfully playful side, Paul has an extraordinary talent for reading the stories written in the sand. While many of us might walk straight past a footprint, Paul sees an adventure waiting to unfold.

His favourite part of every day is tracking—following fresh signs, uncovering new stories and constantly learning something new from the bush. It's this passion and patience that make every game drive even more rewarding.

When it comes to wildlife, the elusive leopard holds a special place in his heart. And with Paul's keen eye and remarkable tracking skills, guests have every reason to keep theirs peeled too.
