Are you joining us to watch tomorrow night's eclipse?! 🌊✨

On Wednesday 12 August, Cornwall is set to experience a spectacular partial solar eclipse. There aren’t many better places to watch the show than from our clifftop location on Pentire Headland, from where we'll be watching it all unfold over an uninterrupted Atlantic horizon.

The eclipse begins at around 6:18pm, reaching its maximum in Newquay at approximately 7:16pm, when around 95% of the sun will be covered.

Come down, grab a drink and find your spot outside as the eclipse meets golden hour over the ocean 🌅

A few things to know: our restaurant is fully booked from 5pm, but walk-ins are welcome in the bar and outside areas. And most importantly, bring your eclipse glasses, as ordinary sunglasses aren’t safe for looking directly at the sun ☀️
